About Simply Design
Simply Design is an independent creative studio based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland. We specialise in web design, ecommerce websites, branding, logo design, print, book design, and board game design. We work with startups, small businesses, authors, and established organisations across Ireland.
We are based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. While we work with clients nationwide across Ireland, we are also happy to meet local clients in Westmeath and the surrounding Midlands area.
Yes. While we are based in Mullingar, we work with clients nationwide — including Dublin, Galway, Cork, Limerick, Westmeath, and beyond. Most projects are managed remotely with no issues.
Simply Design has been trading since 2014, originally as Simply Logo Design. After more than ten years, we rebranded to Simply Design to better reflect the full range of services we now offer.
When you work with Simply Design, you deal directly with the designer on your project — no account managers or unnecessary layers of communication. We combine clear communication, professional design, and practical solutions, focusing on long-term value rather than quick one-off jobs.
Web Design Ireland

Most standard websites take between three and six weeks, depending on project size, content readiness, and feedback timelines. Ecommerce projects typically take longer.
Typically we need a brief overview of your business, examples of websites you like, any existing branding or content, and your goals for the website. We will guide you through the rest.
Yes. WordPress allows for future expansion — adding ecommerce, booking systems, blogs, membership areas, or new pages as your business grows.
Yes. Once the project is complete and paid for, the website, design, and all content belong to you in full.
Ecommerce Websites
Yes. We design WooCommerce-powered online shops, including product setup, payment gateways, shipping options, and basic product training so you can manage your shop after launch.
WooCommerce is suitable for selling physical products, digital downloads, books, made-to-order items, and services. If you are unsure whether it suits your business model, we will give you honest advice.
Yes. We can provide suitable hosting and professional email, or work with your existing provider if preferred.
Branding and Logo Design
Yes. We offer structured branding and logo design packages, from starter logos to full brand identity systems. Packages can also be combined with website projects for a consistent result across all platforms.
This depends on the package chosen. Typically we provide multiple initial concepts and refinement rounds to ensure the final logo fits your brand perfectly.
Yes. Because we create original vector artwork for every client, your logo is unique and legally protectable. Unlike logos created using Canva templates or AI generators, a professionally designed logo can be registered as a trademark.
You will receive all the files your business needs — vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) for print and signage, PNG files with transparent backgrounds for digital use, and CMYK colour references for print consistency. A brand guidelines document is also included in full branding packages.
Print Design
Yes. We design and arrange printing for brochures, menus, business cards, roller banners, signage, posters, and other professional print materials. We work with printers across Ireland, Germany, and Italy to deliver high-quality results.
Yes. We design dinner menus, drinks menus, takeaway menus, table cards, and seasonal promotional materials for restaurants, cafés, bars, and hotels across Ireland.
Yes. We can supply fully print-ready files if you prefer to manage printing yourself. Files are prepared to the exact specifications of your chosen printer.
Yes. We design vehicle graphics and van wraps and supply print-ready artwork files to your chosen local installer. Printing and fitting are arranged locally as vehicle specifications vary.
Book Design and Self-Publishing
Yes. We provide a complete book design and self-publishing service for authors in Ireland, including interior layout, cover design, ISBN guidance, and print management from manuscript to finished book.
Yes. We design children’s books including illustrated layouts, picture book formats, and chapter books. We can incorporate your existing illustrations or discuss sourcing options.
We work with a wide range of standard industry sizes and custom formats, including B Format, Royal, and A4. We produce both perfect bound softcovers and casebound hardcovers.
Yes. Simply Design also builds author websites and ecommerce shops so you can sell directly to readers without relying solely on Amazon or bookshops.
Board Game Design and Printing
Yes. Simply Design offers a full board game design and printing service for independent creators, businesses, charities, and educational organisations. We handle everything from component design and rulebook layout through to commercial print production.
We design game boards, cards, tokens, dice faces, rulebooks, box covers, and all packaging artwork. Every component is set up to strict manufacturing specifications required by commercial factories.
Yes. Branded board games make distinctive corporate gifts, promotional tools, and event giveaways. We design and produce custom games for businesses of all sizes.
Website Hosting and Professional Email
Yes. We provide reliable website hosting and professional email solutions, including Google Workspace setup and management. We can also work with your existing hosting provider if you prefer.
A free Gmail account uses a generic @gmail.com address. Google Workspace gives you a professional email address using your own domain name — for example hello@yourbusiness.ie — along with increased storage, better security, and access to AI tools built directly into Gmail and Google Docs.
Pricing and Process
Website pricing depends on your requirements. We do not use one-size-fits-all pricing. After discussing your goals, content, and functionality, we provide a clear, tailored quote with no hidden costs.
For new customers, payment in full is required before work begins. For larger projects such as ecommerce websites or large branding projects, staged payments can be agreed in advance. Returning customers may pay invoices within the agreed timeframe once issued.
